Samuel Gawith & Co. have been producing fine pipe tobacco for 207 years. Many generations of Gawiths have been hand cutting, stripping, and blending their tobaccos in a small mill in the mountainous lake district of Cumbria. Samuel Gawith & Co. have been using original recipes and machinery, which was brought by pack horse from Scotland to The "Kendal Brown" House at Canal Head. Following are the descriptions of the fine tobaccos, bended with Virginia, Turkish, Cyprian Latakia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzanian leafs.
